Data Deletion Policy

At Bible Devotional AI, we believe in user autonomy and the right to privacy. This policy outlines how you can physically purge your data from our systems.

1. The Right to be Forgotten

You have the right to request the permanent deletion of all personal information and scholarly content associated with your account.

2. How to Delete Your Data

We provide a seamless, in-app mechanism to purge your records instantly:

Step 1: Open the App and navigate to the Settings tab.
Step 2: Scroll to the bottom of the Profile section.
Step 3: Tap Delete Account and confirm the action.

3. What Information is Deleted?

Upon confirming account deletion, the following data is physically and permanently purged from our primary production databases:

Your Email Address and Authentication credentials (via Firebase).
Your Personal Library (Saved Studies and Insights).
Your Prayer Journal entries (for premium users).
Your Highlights and Bible bookmarks.
Your Credit Logs and transaction history.

4. Third-Party Data

Subscription records (processed via Google Play or RevenueCat) are maintained as required by financial regulations and for tax compliance, but will no longer be physically linked to your devotional profile within our app.

5. Manual Requests

If you are unable to access the App and wish to request manual deletion, please contact our support team at fajostech@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 business days.
